President's Message

Dear Woodwind Enthusiasts!
 I am honored to share that I have been elected as the 3rd President of the Boston Woodwind Society, effective August 1, 2024, following a vote by the Board at its July 22, 2024 meeting. This role marks a significant moment of transition as I succeed Ken Radnofsky, who has served with remarkable dedication and skill for 12 years since stepping into the role on January 27, 2013, at the passing of BWS founder and 1st President, Matthew Ruggiero.

  Looking ahead, we are excited to announce a celebration of 20 years of the Boston Woodwind Society in the spring of 2025. This event will honor Matt and his vision of supporting, educating, and promoting future generations of talented young woodwind players. Stay tuned for more details soon!
