Our Mission

Education Boston Woodwind Society supports a broad range of cultural and educational projects aimed at expanding, learning, and performing opportunities for students and professional woodwind musicians. Working in close collaboration with leading artists and educational institutions, the BWS offers masterclasses and workshops that cover a variety of essential topics.
Innovation We are a dynamic, innovative organization responding vigorously to the economic challenges of our times. Constantly seeking ways to expand educational and performance opportunities for students and professional artists, we enthusiastically solicit innovative ideas and projects that help fulfill our mission. If you have ideas or projects that will serve the needs and improve the lives of woodwind players, we'd like to hear from you.
Opportunity BWS provides training programs and performance opportunities to all members of the woodwind community regardless of race, gender or religious affiliation. We maintain a competitive Merit Award Program that recognizes and encourages musical excellence.
