Boston Woodwind Society is proud to announce the commission of a new work for woodwind instruments, "Mosaics for Woodwind Quartet" by Andrew List (pictured at left). Four of our Merit Award recipients gave the world premier performance in Boston at Berklee College of Music on March 28, 2012. The performers were: Alicia Mielke, flute; Miri Kudo, oboe; Camila Barrientos Ossio, clarinet;
Andrew Thompson, bassoon.

BWS First President and Founder Matthew Ruggiero and Arcadian Winds appeared at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts for a lecture/concert. Members of Arcadian Winds are Janet Underhill, bassoon; Vanessa Holroyd, flute; Laura Carter, horn; Jane Harrison, oboe; and Mark Miller, clarinet.
